To His Heavenly Place
Pondering how do I start; see I journal most every day. But this particular time has been placed on my heart, I was given a place in the Old Testament to read then it was like the Spirit said go on a prayer fast and take each word in this scripture and dissect each word. Glory, on my 40-day prayer fast the Lord filled me with much. I would like to share a part of the ending of the fast.
If you have ever heard me speak, I always say how God hears our prayers and the prayers of His people but the prayer of Jabez, in 1 Chronicles in chapter 4 v 10 reaches vastly into the secret place of the most-High. That my friend is altogether another lesson.
What I want to say the importance of being prayed up. Ready for God to show himself strong.
Two days before the 40 days are over, I realized how a simple “word” before the thrown of God, into the Holy of Holy’s is tremendously powerful.
Praying each day Holy Spirit help me today do and be how and what you have for me. Thank you I am open to your working open my heart eyes and mind to you and your way of doing things.
See I had just changed to a new location at work, change, stress and pressure can turn me to become frustrated, unlike who Jesus wants me to be. I was aware of that and then I was going to go study and test for my Masters in Life Coaching. Being aware of our emotions and bringing them to the word does help. If we are to imitate Jesus and His actions, I have to pay attention to them.
My thoughts were on getting things done in the physical, and some time it may be spiritual.
The very day my fast ended and I was thinking we are going to go on a trip to south Florida I will be in school but my husband would be able to be with his brother and fish which he greatly enjoys.
THEN THE CALL CAME
What we were thinking was just a routine test turned differently. The Dr. called and the prognosis was not something we wanted to hear. My husband was strong as he processes this and still is amazing to me today, on how he is able to walk in this trust.
We may think one thing and God is working all kinds of things for our “Good”. We together are still praying and believing and trusting.
HOLY SPIRIT HELP ME DO & BE HOW AND WHAT YOU HAVE FOR ME
After we came home from south Florida, I made it a task to keep my actions Christ like. I really would think if I felt an emotion that was either angry stressed or offended.
I was blessed to have family come in and we had a wonderful time After my family had left all the wonderful times we had so very fresh in my mind my children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren, what a tremendous blessing.
I was able to be with some of my family. I was able to talk to one of my granddaughters, about life and people who say they are a Christian but the fruit they produce shows different. That not everyone that says they are a Christian produces good fruit and that is how you should look at your friends you want to be around, to choose wisely your friends. What kind of fruit do they produce?
It was the next day in the afternoon. I had just come home from work. I though on my way home how I would have a small piece of French bread with soft butter. I could taste it almost in my mouth. Yes, there was just one small piece left. Reached over for the bread broke it open taking out some of the heart of the bread leaving the crust my oh my I was ready to enjoy. With the butter knifed in hand went to the butter dish ready to place that soft butter on my little piece bread to find the butter dish was empty……
My first thought was how hard is it to put ……then I stopped thinking of Jesus Humm…
THEN THE REVELATION CAME
Is this how I should act? Then I though of Jesus and the fig tree. I read that so many times before but this time the Holy Spirit said think and read.
I have always been told when you read the word go back and see what was being said.
When scripture was written it wasn’t done in verse and chapter. Remember the Lord had me look at the words look at the times what was Jesus actions. I thought Jesus wouldn’t curse the tree with out a reason. That was out of His creator. One commentary I read said he is God so if He wanted to curse the tree He could. But that is not consistent with Jesus’s creator. So, I read Mark 11: 1-10 every word is saying something, but for time we will just go over it. Jesus sent two of his disciples to go to the village to enter into it see a colt tied that no man sat on and bring to him that colt, and they did. They brought the colt to Jesus and cast their garments on him and Jesus sat upon him. And they that went before and they that followed cried saying “Hosanna Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord Blessed be the kingdom of our father David that comes in the name of the Lord Hosanna in the highest.
Then Jesus entered into Jerusalem and Jesus entered into the temple
And when He had looked around about upon all things and now it was evening
Jesus left and went to another town with the twelve.
Jesus then was on the way back to the temple and the word says Jesus was hungry and seeing a fig tree afar off in full leaves.
With a fig tree typically if you have full green leaves you would have fruit also.
So, from a far-off Jesus saw the tree in all its fullness of green leaves but when he was up close there was no fruit.
Boom!!!
Now look at that
First the people are praising him as King crying out
What do we do “Lord Lord” one day and then how much time do we spend with Him?
Do we get cough up like in the temple? The things of this world
Then the big question is, what about your,
Church is it producing fruit?
Your life?
See I believe this is a true end time parable.
We confess to know Jesus and then ……. when he comes and He is coming!
He will be the one to judge.
Will there be fruit ………
I truly do not believe it is about the tree or is it in Jesus creator to curse a tree
But that is a warning to us all, to check your fruit
You best have a big bushel full plus.
We don’t want to hear the Lord say “I know you not”.
But Good and faithful servant come on in my friend!!!!!
