A Servant, A Friend, A Child, and An Heir
In scripture were called to be a servant of God and to serve God’s purpose.
We are also called to no longer be called servant but friend.
Then it also says that we are children of God by faith in Christ and if children then we are heirs, joint heir with Christ.
So then, I said well God, what is it? I’m I your child? But I know I’m called to serve, and also, I definitely want to be a friend and heir with Christ Jesus?
I went through all the Scriptures being called a servant being a friend and also a child of God.
So, this is how the Lord showed, actually we are all four at the same time.
Towards the end of my mother’s life she became very sick and I brought her into my home to care for her I literally became her caretaker and I served her I bathed her changed her fed her I dressed her I did her hair, I actually served her.
But I was still her daughter, that never changed.
I definitely was my mother’s caretaker. I definitely served her and her needs. I loved her dearly as a friend also. But she always never ceased to be my mother.
God is everything to us, as we are to him, we are his friend his servant his child and heir with Christ.
Don’t let the enemy steal any part of our wonderful magnificent relationship we have with our Heavenly Father.
