God Never Changes

God Never Changes

God never changes; as you look at the word change it reads to be different, alteration or modification.

You may think of change as being one way and then changes our mind and the way you were thinking about something. Say one thing and then think and do something completely different.

God is always consistent to His way and thinking.

What God’s work does do is evolves. Things can appear to have changed by developing, undergo development, to evolve, transform, renew, refresh grow to produce, replenish and restore. All would produce what you would call change. But the intended purpose never changed. The precepts, values or beliefs remained the same.

We here not all change is difficult but can add stress to your life. This also may not be real change but a fulfillment or to evolve into something greater.

Looking at an example let’s see the different in what I would call real change and something that evolves into greater.

You were single and then you became married, that is different but that evolves in to something not necessarily changing your precepts, values or beliefs. It can be stressful but the core of your values or beliefs are intact.

You and your spouse may then be blessed with children. That may take an adjustment and be stressful but the core of your values or beliefs are intact.

What I call true change is when your core precepts, values or beliefs do indeed change.

You and your spouse may decide that one of you needs to stay home to care for the children, as the other works out in the work force. That may bring a change in one or both of your values or beliefs say if you never believed in doing that. Depending on the degree and depth it may produce great stress. And a change in your values or beliefs has to be made.

Or you and your spouse then become devoiced. I am not talking about the why of it just showing as an example that this may and should strike to the core of your precepts, values or beliefs. That is real change.

As to God He never changes or alters His precepts. With God there is no shadow of turning.

From the Old Testament to the New Testament we see God’s Glorious plan evolve.

James 1:17  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
